Ladles of Love started out as a soup kitchen, feeding the homeless and in March 2020, mushroomed into a large scale operation. In addition to our soup kitchen on Roeland Street, we use funds raised via kind donations and funding to purchase bulk produce and non-perishables which are sent out to an estimated 138 primary and 200 secondary beneficiaries within Cape Town. These beneficiaries are local community soup kitchens, schools and ECD’s that use these items to make food which is served within their community daily. Together we have been able to serve over 21 million meals since the beginning of COVID-19
