Help us focus on the Abilities of our Intellectually Disabled Adults and not their Disabilities.
Sunfield Home Wellington, is a residential care facility and a protective workshop for 110 intellectually disabled adults and approximately 10 day care individuals. We are situated at the foot of Bainskloof. Our aim is to focus on the Ability of our residents and not their Disabilities.

Sunfield Home has Residents on the Autism Spectrum, residents with Down Syndrome residents with various degrees of Intellectual disabilities, due to car accidents and brain damage at birth. Sunfield Home is a Home away from Home and we strive to ensure the total well-being of our special people in our care. We can only achieve this with the support of their parents, volunteers and the broader community.

The Safari Half Marathon this year supports THE NEWTON SERVICE CENTRE (NSC). We aim to invest in local community based initiatives. The NSC was established in 1991 and for more than 22 years assisted seniors in the Drakenstein area to be creative. The NSC also supplies a solid platform for seniors to interact. Lack of funds prohibit the centre to add quality of life to the members who dedicated their lives to our community. By supporting this worthy cause we make a concrete difference in their lives and to our country.

Together our small efforts can bring about real change in our society. Thank you for supporting NEWTON SERVICE CENTRE.
